DaVinci Resolve keyboard shortcuts
DaVinci Resolve combines professional editing, color grading, Fusion effects and Fairlight audio in one free application. Its edit page borrows the best keyboard conventions from traditional NLEs, and colorists live on node shortcuts, so the defaults below cover both cutting and grading at speed. This cheat sheet covers 72 default shortcuts for Windows and Mac.

Put your top DaVinci Resolve shortcuts on real keys
The five DaVinci Resolve actions most worth binding to a physical macropad key:
Ctrl+\Cmd+\ Split clip at playhead The most repeated cutting action; backslash is an awkward reach on most keyboards.
F10F10 Overwrite clip The workhorse three-point edit when assembling a timeline from source clips.
Alt+SOption+S Add serial node Colorists add a node for nearly every adjustment; this is the color page's most-used key.
Shift+BackspaceShift+Delete Ripple delete selection Removes a clip and closes the gap in one press during rough cutting.
Ctrl+TCmd+T Add default transition Instant cross dissolve on the selected edit point without the effects library.
