How do I start a Keynote slideshow with the keyboard?
Press Cmd+Option+P to play from the current slide. During the show, Space or Right advances builds and slides, Left goes back, and Esc ends the presentation.
How do I black out the screen during a Keynote presentation?
Press B to fade to black or W to fade to white while presenting. Press any key to resume the slideshow, and F freezes the current slide if you just want to pause animation.
How do I jump to a specific slide while presenting in Keynote?
Type the slide number and press Enter (Return). While presenting you can also press ? to see the full overlay of presenter shortcuts.
How do I group objects in Keynote?
Select multiple objects and press Cmd+Option+G to group them; Cmd+Option+Shift+G ungroups. Use Cmd+Shift+F and Cmd+Shift+B to bring the selection to the front or send it to the back.
How do I stop editing text and select the whole text box in Keynote?
Press Cmd+Return to finish editing and select the box itself, or Esc to step out of editing. From there arrow keys nudge the box 1 point and Shift+Arrow keys nudge it 10 points.
